Kim Dean has been in the grooming industry for over 27 years. Kim first started out working in a poodle parlour in the south of England. For the next 11 years Kim operated a grooming and clipping service, as well as working at a small animal hospital in Peth as accredited groomer.
David and Kim own two successful grooming salons and a sharpening and repairs service all operating south of the river.
We specialise in creative clipping of all breeds from the pampered pooch to best in show.
In October 2002 Kim was presented with an Australian Micro Business Award - the Western Australian Winner in the Animals Category.
Kim Dean has also successfully completed the following course;
We are now government approved for 'Work for the Dole' Training Credits Program.
At the end of the course you should be able to complete the ACM30617 Certificate III in Pet Grooming, which is a Nationally Recognised Qualification in Australia. This certificate is offered by the International Grooming Company in partnership with the Parramatta College where the later issues this qualification for the successful candidates in accordance with the National Vocational Education and Training Act 2011 and under the jurisdiction of the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
